Caldwall Castle
Caldwall Castle, often called Caldwall Tower, is a former manor house in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Only a single red-brown sandstone tower survives today after the rest of the manor was demolished in 1961. The tower is Grade II* listed and has been restored for use as a private residence.

A single red-brown sandstone tower stands behind a low brick boundary wall on a town street; the masonry is coursed with irregular, weathered blocks and visible patch repairs. The tower is roughly rectangular with slightly projecting angled corners and small slit windows in the lower storeys. A recessed pointed-arch entrance sits beneath a larger recessed arched loggia with an iron railing. Tall white-framed sash windows puncture one face. The roofline is a flat parapet with low squared battlements and corner projections.

Caldwall Castle, now known as Caldwall Tower, was a manor house in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, laid out as a courtyard with four surrounding towers — likely similar to Stokesay Castle in Shropshire. It was owned by the Cokesay family until 1498, when it passed to the Wyntour family, who sold it in 1589 to the de Clare family.
The manor passed to the Jeffrey family in 1777 and was acquired by George Turton in 1864. On his death in 1897 the Corporation of Kidderminster took control, using the buildings as a school of domestic science, government offices, the municipal fire station and an air raid protection headquarters, before the derelict house was demolished in 1961, leaving a single tower standing.
The surviving red-brown sandstone tower is Grade II* listed. Sold in 1990 to Richard and Nely Davies, it has been restored and is now a private residence.
