What Santa Maria della Vittoria looked like in its prime.

A two‑order pale travertine façade rises from a wide stone stair: colossal Corinthian pilasters with enriched entablatures, a rounded pediment over the central portal and a triangular tympanum crowned by a slim iron cross. Upper corners terminate in scroll volutes bearing sculpted eagles and urns; a central arched window sits above the portal. The surface is smooth, pale limestone with carved cornices, sculpted cartouche and a deep recessed dark‑green wooden door at street level.
