Caprington Castle is a 15th-century keep incorporated into a castellated mansion near Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The medieval core was integrated into a refurbished manor house around 1829; the building remains occupied and is a category A listed property.

Rectangular castellated mansion of grey-brown sandstone set on a raised terrace above a broad lawn; the principal façade is dominated by a four-storey central tower with a crenellated parapet and visible machicolations, flanked by square corner turrets and lower lateral wings. A central arched porte-cochere pierces the terrace podium, which has round corner bastions. Regular sash windows run across four storeys and slate rooflines sit behind the battlements; stonework is uniform and complete at its prime.

The Wallaces of Sundrum owned Caprington from 1385, and in 1400 it passed by marriage to the Cunninghams. The fifteenth-century keep survives at the heart of the house, the walls of the current dining-room correspond to the original keep, which had a small stair-wing and a larger wing built later.
Around 1829 the old castle was incorporated into a castellated mansion south-west of Kilmarnock: a four-storey centre tower with parapet and machicolations dominates the principal façade, with square corner turrets, a porte-cochère and a terrace with round corner bastions, and Gothic plaster ceilings in the hall and staircase within. Caprington is a category A listed building, its grounds included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland, and the castle is still occupied.
